PSAEON/St John Ambulance: Basic life support training
St John Ambulance had the requirement to update all of their training material to reflect the changes made to the Basic Life Support protocol as determined by the Resuscitation council.
They identified an interactive user guide as the perfect approach , commercialised through Animmersion as PSAEON, and asked to produce the Basic Life Support protocol in an interactive format. Animmersion, working with its subsidiary PSAEON, produced two interactive sequences, Basic Life Support and Basic Life Support with an AED. This is now being used as a pilot with their existing client base and will be developed further in the coming months.
St John Ambulance are the largest commercial first aid trainers in the UK and as such have been seeking a method of online training. Working with PSAEON and Animmersion, they have identified a methodology for training that compliments their first aid courses while helping students carry on with their learning away from the classroom.
