Teesside University: OSCE training
After seeing the User Guide approach we were applying in other markets Teesside University invited us to apply the same methodology to training nurses for practical examinations called OSCEs (Objective Structured Clinical Examinations).
The resulting software allowed student nurses to perform one of four different scenarios, interacting with every step. The feedback has been tremendous. When surveyed students unanimously agreed that the software had helped them.
The software has been used with over 800 students, improving referral rates by up to 50% in some cases.
We have gone on to commercialise the software under our subsidiary company PSAEON now working exclusively in the Health and Social care domain to deliver accessible and highly interactive online training that really delivers results.
