Indigo Chip: Patent comparison software
Indigo Chip, based in Newcastle, offer patent searching and proprietary mapping services to examine the patent landscape for a wide range of technologies. We worked with them shortly after their start up to develop a system for capturing and visualising data relating to patents under analysis.
We produced a database system capable of managing multiple different patent sets. Each set could include any number of comparable patents and could hold data comparing them on any number of features.
The interface provided a number of different 3D graphing options to display selection of patents in comparison with one another. The system enabled quick access to all relevant data displayed in an easily interpretable manner.
